Weddings at St Joseph, Husband of Mary Church are prayerful and beautiful occasions. To begin your preparation for a wedding at St Joseph's, please see the Initial Wedding Packet (Checklist) below or go to the Parish Office to pick one up. When the checklist is complete, please call the office at 702.363.1902 and ask to set up an appointment with Fr. Ameh to establish your eligibility for marriage in the Catholic Church. With the Pastor’s permission you may then select your wedding date according to the parish availability. Please do not set a date until you have completed the packet and met with the Pastor, as your desired date may not be available.
You will need to allow at least 6 months for these preparations.
If you are local, you will need to be registered at a parish in the Diocese of Las Vegas for at least these 6 months before the wedding date.
You may procure your Marriage License at the Marriage License Bureau, (3rd and Louis Streets, Las Vegas) and it is valid for a year from purchase.

The main emphasis is on communications between husband and wife. The program offers you the opportunity to rediscover each other and examine your lives together in a new and positive way.
Retrouvaille is Christian-based, and Catholic in origin, but welcomes couples of all faiths as well as non-religious couples. There is support for your marriage, in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. Retrouvaille can help get your relationship back on track.
