St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church Deacon Steve Greco Deacon Steve was ordained in the Diocese of Orange in May 2007 as a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church. He is assigned to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Irvine. Steve was a healthcare executive for over 35 years, holding positions as Senior Vice President of Sales, Bristol Myers-Squibb, President of Publicis Selling Solutions and Vice President of Sales for Depomed, Inc. He currently is retired and in full-time ministry. Deacon Steve founded Spiritual Filled Hearts Ministry and gives talks and healing services throughout California, the United States and worldwide in many parishes, and for Catholic conferences and radio. He currently is host of a weekly radio show, “Empowered by the Spirit” heard on the Relevant network at noon on Sunday. In Southern California, it is on 1000 AM. Steve is also on ESNE Catholic radio network. In Los Angeles, it is on 1670 AM at 9:00 pm on Sunday. Deacon Steve has a ministry of evangelization and healing called Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry. He has published a daily meditational book 365 Days of Praise, and in Spanish 365 Dias de Alabanza available on Amazon. Also, another book, “Reflections on the Holy Spirit”, focusing on the Fruit of the Spirit, is available on Amazon. It is also available in Spanish. Additional books by Deacon Steve are “Expect, and Experience Miracles”, “Overcoming Adversity through Miracles”, “Miracles Through Forgiveness”, “Miracles Through Prayer”, “Be Not Afraid” and his most recent book is “Miracles through Mercy”. He has been married to Mary Anne Greco for 52 years and they have three children and four grandchildren. Deacon Steve is currently Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation for the Diocese of Orange. Dan DeMatte Dan DeMatte is a Catholic speaker, retreat leader, and youth minister who founded and serves as executive director of the Damascus Catholic Mission Campus, the home of Catholic Youth Summer Camp where he previously served as director of evangelization. He earned a bachelor's degree in theology and philosophy from Ohio Dominican University and received a master’s degree in theology from Pontifical College Josephinum in 2015. From 2005 to 2011, DeMatte founded and was the program director of Jesus Jams, a monthly event for high school students. He also served as a DRE and youth minister for 10 years at the parish level. DeMatte was one of the stars of the 2006 A&E reality show God or the Girl, which followed his discernment to the priesthood or married life. He has appeared on EWTN, The Today Show, Larry King Live, and The View. He is the cohost of EWTN radio’s Encounter. DeMatte’s book Holiness Revolution is part of Matthew Kelly's Dynamic Catholic program. Dan lives with his wife Amber and their children in Columbus, Ohio. Deacon Larry Oney Deacon Larry Oney is the chairman of HGI Global, founder of Hope and Purpose Ministries, international motivational speaker, host of the “Life and Spirit” podcast, author of Amazed by God’s Grace (published by The Word Among Us Press), Divine Mission: Discovering Your Hope and Purpose, Reflections on the Kingdom of God, and UP FAITH! God loves a faith that is always looking up!, and co-author of two books. Larry Oney infuses positivity and inspiration into his work and ministries. His dynamic presentation style and message of hope has led to hundreds of speaking engagements across the globe. Over thirty years of experience making critical business decisions while helping to awaken the faith of others has uniquely equipped Larry Oney to present lively, invigorating, knowledgeable, and life-changing presentations. Barbara Heil Barbara Heil grew up on the West Coast, and as a student, had a life changing encounter with the love of Christ. She crossed the country to Ashland, Virginia where she learned a life of prayer, worship, and devotion at an international ministry community. Her hands-on training included kid’s camps, inner city ministry, missions, ministry to the poor, and crusades around the world. Barbara was part of the staff at the Calvary Campground in Ashland, Virginia for over 20 years. Her ministry experience is wide and varied, from living in Hong Kong to minister in Asia, to living in Jerusalem, to being on staff at a street mission in San Diego, Ca to minister to the needs of the homeless during the beginning of the AIDS outbreak. She has ministered all over the world, has been a missionary, an evangelist, and pastor. She has spent the last few years traveling the U.S. and the world over conducting worship seminars, retreats, and conferences, leading missions trips, offering prayer and counseling, and seeing thousands healed and set free inside and out, equipping lives for the Glory of God. Barbara didn’t know until recently that she had been baptized as a child in the Catholic Church, and after much prayer and deliberation, she received the Rite of Confirmation in St Paul, Minnesota, in April of 2013. Today, based in Iowa, Barbara continues to be involved in a wide spectrum of Christian endeavor. A widow for 8 years, Barbara has recently married! She lives in Iowa with her husband, Jeff. She is the joyful mother of four and grandmother of two! Together she and Jeff have 8 children and 10 grandkids! Fr. Camillus Ogaraku MSP Fr. Cam was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in the Missionaries of Saint Paul on June 25, 2005, by His Eminence Lars Anders Cardinal Arborelius, OCD, Bishop of Stockholm. He was first appointed Associate Pastor at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Suleja, Nigeria. One year later, in January 2007, he was posted to the Missionary of St. Paul Mission in Botswana. After completing orientation and training in the Setswana language, he served as Pastor at Thapelong, or “House of Prayer,” in Kanye, Botswana. He served there until 2014, then was assigned to be Pastor of Tsholofelong, or “House of Hope,” parish in Tlokweng, from 2014 to 2020, a village directly adjacent to Botswana’s capital, Gaborone. After thirteen years in Botswana, he was assigned to the US and arrived in 2021. After arriving to the United States, he served as a Parochial Vicar at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in the Centennial Hills area of Las Vegas for almost two years, an office he combined with parochial administration of St. Patrick Church in Tonopah, Round Mountain, and Fish Lake. He was eventually named the Parochial Administrator of St. Anthony of Padua in January of 2023 and in July of 2023, was named Pastor of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Las Vegas. As a priest in the Missionary Society of St. Paul, Fr. Cam tries to live according to their motto: Pro Christo Legatione Ergo Fungimur, or “Ambassadors for Christ.” This motto comes from St. Paul's appeal in 2 Corinthians 5:20, “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were appealing to us; we beg you, on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” Fr. Cam is excited to be the host parish for “I Thirst, Las Vegas” and invites everyone in the Archdiocese to attend! |
