Baptism Information
If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child under age 7, please see the PDF below for more information regarding our requirements for Baptism. If you have any questions about the information, please contact Norma in the parish office by calling us at 702.363.1902. All of the paperwork and requirements must be completed in order to set the date of Baptism. Please do not make party or travel arrangements until the baptism date has been set with Norma.

If you are wanting to be a Godparent and need:
- A letter of good standing from the parish or a letter of membership, please contact the pastoral assistant.
- If you need a priest signature, please call the office and ask for the pastoral assistant to set up an appointment.
Baptismal Requirements for Parents/Godparents
Baptism Classes for Parents and Godparents
As part of the Baptismal process for children under 7 years old, St. Joseph, Husband of Mary requires both parents of the child to be baptized to take our Baptismal Preparation Class for Parents and Godparents. Anyone is welcome to attend the class. There is no registration or fee. A certificate will be provided at the end of the class. Please see the above link for the next baptism date.

Becoming Catholic

Baptism for Children Age 7-17
St. Joseph, Husband of Mary has a process by which non-baptized children ages 7 and up are prepared to be fully initiated. After a minimum of 2 years of instruction, children can receive Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion.
